Carole Harries Receives Certificate of Recognition! On Friday 22nd August Carole Harries was presented with a Certificate of Recognition for all her hard work and efforts in the last few years. She was presented with her certificate by Michele Adams Business Development Executive for the Welsh Region. Michele commented what an integral part of the successful Cardiff Area Committee she was. What makes this award all the more special is that Carole was nominated by her peers on the committee. Below are just some of the things they said about her. Michele Adams BDE presents award to Carole Harries Carole always maintains a professional approach to her CSSC role and duties. She is enthusiastic, thorough, conscientious and is always suggesting new ideas/benefits/events for our members. She is a very warm, approachable, friendly, helpful person who is ideal as the 'face' or initial point of contact for CSSC Cardiff. She constantly strives to ensure we reach as many Cardiff members as possible, e.g. suggesting events for retired members, families etc. Carole is an excellent secretary as she is efficient, precise and well organised.CSSC Cardiff would not have been able to function as a committee and achieved the successes we have had during this year, e.g. the administration of the members' discounts/rebates, central point of contact for all CSSC Cardiff trips /queries, carrying out the secretarial duties and reaching some of our retired members. She endeavours to ensure we include all ages, backgrounds and interests into the events, offers and discounts we provide. Carole will often make suggestions for new events and offers, even though she knows this will increase her already heavy CSSC workload. We are very lucky to have her on our committee.
